Fast for the front desk

Start time matters. The schedule around it can stay flexible.

Operators often know that one customer will need more or less time than the default. YigePOS makes the book easy to scan, then gives the right person controlled ways to adjust it.

A calendar, not a spreadsheet

See people, time and availability in one glance.

Choose a location, move between day and week views, filter a larger team, and keep the most relevant columns visible on an iPad. With ten or more staff, the book becomes horizontally scrollable instead of squeezing every column into unreadable fragments.

  • Tap an empty slot to create an appointment or block time.
  • Tap a booking to open its details and linked customer.
  • Drag to propose a new start time; resize to change the blocked duration.
  • Confirm before changes become final.

Staged service timing

Not every service is one uninterrupted block.

A colour, facial, massage programme or pet-grooming service can have active work, waiting or processing, and finishing stages. Build that real rhythm into the service instead of inflating every appointment into one solid block.

  • Decide whether each stage requires a staff member.
  • Keep a chair, room or other resource occupied where necessary.
  • Release the team member during processing time.
  • Show the customer one clear start time and expected finish.

Availability that explains itself

Hours, leave and time off become one answer.

Availability should not depend on somebody remembering to update three calendars. YigePOS brings the rules together before offering a slot.

01 · Business hours

Open hours by location.

Set the normal weekly pattern once, then add exceptions only where a day or location is different.

02 · Staff hours

The right person, at the right place.

Give each staff profile a clear working pattern, location assignment and service eligibility.

03 · Time off

Approved leave blocks the book.

Full-day or timed closures and approved staff leave feed the same availability engine automatically.

One appointment lifecycle

Booking is the beginning—not a separate module.

Every stage stays connected, so the team has context and the owner does not have to reconcile the same visit in several places.

01 · Book

Capture the customer and intent.

Service, preferred staff, location, notes, source and any required forms sit on the appointment.

02 · Adjust

Operate with judgement.

Move or resize the block, check conflicts and decide whether an emailed schedule change should be sent.

03 · Checkout

Complete the visit once.

A matched checkout can mark the appointment completed and pass the visit into sales, customer history and retention.

Customer context on tap

The appointment opens the person—not just the time block.

When a booking is matched through the customer’s mobile number or selected profile, the team can reach the useful record without leaving the book.

  • See contact information, preferences and upcoming bookings.
  • Review package sessions, stored value and membership benefits.
  • Read the latest staff note, form status and relevant history.
  • Open the full profile only when deeper detail is needed.

Scheduling questions

Built for real front desks.

Can the team add an appointment manually?

Yes. Tap an empty slot or use New appointment, then choose an existing customer or add a guest. The booking inherits service timing while an authorised manager can adjust the block for the actual work expected.

Can a manager move or resize an appointment?

Yes. Dragging proposes a new start time and pulling the lower edge changes the blocked duration. The change is reviewed before saving, conflicts are checked, and a moved confirmed appointment can offer an email notification choice.

How do processing gaps work?

A service can contain multiple stages. Each stage can require staff, keep a resource occupied, or release the staff member while the customer processes or waits.

Does approved staff leave block bookings?

Yes. Once a leave request is approved, it becomes staff time off and stops new appointments from being offered during that period.

Can the book handle a larger team?

Yes. Location and staff filters reduce visual noise; horizontal scrolling preserves readable columns when many staff are shown, rather than compressing them into unusable widths.
